This policy explains what information the KeyLens browser extension and website ("KeyLens", "we") handle and how. KeyLens is designed so that your data stays in your own browser.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect, sell or share personal information. KeyLens has no user accounts and no backend server.

2. Data processed locally

• Settings — your API key, preferences and display options are saved with Chrome storage on your device.
• Public listing data — public listing and shop information (such as title, price, views, favorites, tags, shop sales and location) is requested from the Etsy Open API for the listings you view, and cached locally to reduce API calls.
• History snapshots — view and favorite counts are stored locally over time to calculate 24-hour changes. Snapshots older than 10 days are removed automatically.
• Saved listings and followed shops — listings you save or that match your highlight rules, and shops you choose to follow (with periodic snapshots of their public total sales count), are stored locally so you can review them later.

You can delete all cached data at any time from the extension popup, or by uninstalling the extension.

3. Etsy API usage

KeyLens only calls public, read-only endpoints of the Etsy Open API v3. It does not request OAuth access to any Etsy account and never reads private data such as buyer information, orders, messages or payments. Data from the API is displayed only to the user who requested it and is not redistributed.

4. Third parties

Requests are sent directly from your browser to the Etsy API. Country flag images are loaded from flagcdn.com. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.

5. Children

KeyLens is intended for sellers and is not directed at children under 13.

6. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
